I visited Los Angeles last year and went to a restaurant called Asuka located near Wilshire and Westwood Blvd, next to the movie theater. I had a salad which consisted on sliced avocadoes, sliced cucumbers, orange flying fish roe (or tobikko), iceberg lettuce and an off white salad dressing…it was delicious and I want to know what the salad dressing is called and what the ingredients are to make it. Its not very thick, its actually like a watery dressing, not thick like the consistency of caesar dressing. If anyone lives in the 310 area and can call this number of the restaurant and inquire about this salad dressing for me that would be very cool. Im currently in Canada and was seeing if anyone would do this favour for me and post the answer here. Thank you!

Good luck!
I looked at their menu on line (at a location in North Carolina). Don’t know if it’s the same one but, the salad descrip says a sweetened vinaigrette dressing. Perhaps you could find a similar dressing in the ethnic section of the market tweek it a bit. Another idea is to troubleshoot or ask for a similar dressing recipe here. My experience – chefs won’t give out their recipes. I tried once for a peel and eat shrimp dish at a Chinese restaurant. No luck. Hope you find it.
Afterthought – maybe they use Miso — or am I reaching?
