For me it was just throwing my line out and waiting for a fish to bite. I guess thats called floating, not really sure. Just know how to do it. You have to have patience though sometimes it takes a while for the fish to bite. Depends on what kind of bait they are used to getting and the time of the day. I’ve heard sometimes when it rains that is a good time.
Ice fishing. All you use is bait, hook, spool of line, sinker, a stick and flagging tape. Wait for your flag to go down the hole and then pull up your fish.
Of course that’s if the fish are biting. Really, the easiest fishing is anywhere the fish are most plentiful and aggressive.
Tight-lining– just fish the bottom with live bait. Works great for catfish and great for salt water. I hammer several PVC pipes into the sand, cast a live bait, tighten the lines and place the rods in the pipes. Then I sit back and relax….you will know when you get a fish on. (Just make sure your drag is set kinda loose)
for me is sea fishing, because you get you lure ready and sit on your boat and wait for the big one to bite.

I think the easiest form of fishing is Bream/Sunfish fishing.
A size 2-4 hook, 6 LB line, a split shot, a bobber, and a cane pole.
Bread balls for bait. Whats easier than that?
And the cool part is the Sunny’s are happy to oblige!
(if my 4 year old can catch Bream/Sunfish, then it MUST be the easiest form!)

float bluegill fishing is the easiest because you can use anything for bait and you just throw it out and you will get a bite

tnt is about the easiest
Trolling a deep diving lure behind a boat is the easiest.
